About 200 km northwest of Kiev the biggest Ukrainian sawmill starts putting its equipment into operation. The company will operate under the brand “Rezult” at the market. The sawmill capacity is designed for 1.2 million solid cubic metres. Up to 400 jobs shall be created with the new mill, as HOLTEC said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
HOLTEC supplies a high-capacity log sorting line with 88 sorting boxes. Further cornerstones of the system are two butt reducers, one double rotor debarker as well as a JÖRG ELEKTRONIK log scanner.
The log sorting line has already been put into operation in summer this year, the complete sawmill is going to go on line by the end of this year.
The sawmill is part of a fully integrated site. The same company operates a huge MDF mill for several years in Korosten.
