IlimSeverLes started FSC preliminary audit

Aug 22, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. IlimSeverLes enterprises (Arkhangelsk region, Russia, owned by Ilim Pulp) started preliminary FSC certification audit, corporate public affairs reported. The audit will be carried out by German GFA Terra Systems and Russia Europartner. The auditors will release a report on the results the examination and the preparedness of the enterprise for the main part of audit checks to be launched in 1-1.5 months after the preliminary audit. Ilim Pulp is currently preparing its enterprises for FSC certification. In accordance with corporate plans, the majority of enterprises located in the North-West and Siberia will obtain certificates in late 2005-early 2006. Meanwhile manufacturer-to-consumer certification will be underway.
