Russia’s Volga renews certification for its fluting paper

Apr 17, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Russia’s Volga obtained a new GOST Russia certificate of conformity for its fluting paper, B-3 grade, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. 

Fluting is a corrugating medium which is fluted and glued to a flat facing (linerboard) to produce corrugated cardboard, widely used in packaging. Volga produces Fluting paper, B-3 grade, basis weight 100–160 gm2, at its PM4.

“Our product is in full conformity with Russian GOST R 53206-2008 requirements, which is demonstrated by Certificate of Conformity No. РОСС RU.АГ78.Н01269. The certificate has been issued by the certification body at the Nizhny Novgorod regional Standardization and Metrology Centre following the tests carried out at a specialized test centre of the Central Paper Research Institute in Moscow,” says Nadezda Smirnova, Volga’s head of the Laboratory & Quality Control division.

Volga’s fluting paper, B-3 grade, is an ecological product made from 100% recycled fibre.
