Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2019 was worth Euro 3.4 million, which is about 28% less than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 28%, of pulpwood by about 30%, of wood fuel by almost 19% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 47%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2019 was almost 51% lower than in May 2018, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by more than 54%, of pulpwood by almost 45%, of wood fuel by almost 19% and of other industrial roundwood by 39%.
