Euro 5.8 million of roundwood was purchased from private owners in Slovenia, which was about 9% more than a month before. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs increased by about 6%, of pulpwood by almost 28%, of wood fuel by about 3% and of other industrial roundwood by about 14%, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. 

Compared to September 2021, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by almost 19% (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood). The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of wood fuel decreased by about 22% and 44%, respectively, while the values of pulpwood and of other industrial roundwood were higher than a year ago (by about 13% and 133%, respectively).
