Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2019 was worth Euro 6 million, which is about 24% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 23%, of wood fuel by almost 53%, of pulpwood by about 8% and of other industrial roundwood by just over 43%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2019 was almost 50% higher than in March 2018, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 36% and of pulpwood by 44%.

The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was about 105% higher, while the value of the purchased wood fuel was more than twice as high as in the same month last year.
