Tieto has appointed Jussi Mekkonen as Head of Advisory, Industry Software starting September 1, 2019. The role is new at Tieto, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Mekkonen has a strong background in development and management positions, especially in the finance sector. He joins Tieto from Ferratum Bank, where he was CEO. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership positions at Nordea, including serving as Head of Personal Banking for Finland.
In his new role at Tieto, Mekkonen will focus on strengthening the dialogue between business and IT in Tieto’s customer projects.
