West Fraser’s 1Q 2019 sales were $1.2 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was $110 million, or 9% of sales, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

1Q lumber segment generated operating earnings of $2 million (4Q 2018 - $22 million loss) and Adjusted EBITDA of $84 million (4Q 2018 - $68 million).

Panels segment generated operating earnings in the 1Q 2019 of $11 million (4Q 2018 - $4 million) and Adjusted EBITDA of $15 million (4Q 2018 - $9 million). Improved plywood pricing was the major contributor to the improved results.
