Since 1870 the Joint Stock NSC, Arkhangelsk has been successfully operating in worldwide cargo shipping. NSC fleet of multi-purpose dry cargo vessels 2.500 - 14.000 DWT carries logs, sawn timber, pulp-and-paper products as well as general, bulk, dangerous cargoes including IMO class 7, as well as 20- and 40-feet and reefer containers. NSC liner service provides regular shipments via Arkhangelsk and St.Petersburg.
The fleet and the Company itself are certified in compliance with the requirements of ISM Code. The Document of Compliance actually ensures that the Company is capable of guarantee for safe marine shipments. All NSC vessels have insurance cover. The well-known first-class companies and P&I Clubs represent the insurers. Being ice-classed NSC vessels are able to operate under hard ice conditions.
