Ahlstrom has completed the sale of its shares in Jujo Thermal Ltd to
Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, Ahlstrom sold its shares
in Jujo Thermal to Nippon Paper Industries for a purchase price of Euro 2.75
million. The transaction was announced on December
23, 2013, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Jujo Thermal Ltd, a company manufacturing thermal paper in Kauttua, was
established in 1992 by Ahlstrom Corporation, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd
and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Ahlstrom continues to produce crepe papers in
Kauttua, employing approximately 20 people.
Ahlstrom is a global high performance fiber-based materials company.
