Cellwood to supply a pulper installation to Södra Cell Mörrum Sweden, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The Board of Directors of Södra decided to invest SEK 1 billion ($113.4 million) in the pulp mill at Mörrum, Sweden. The investment is the second stage of a long-term initiative at Södra Cell Mörrum, and will increase the mill’s capacity by 45,000 tonnes.
Cellwood supplies a horizontal Grubbens Pulper type W26-82/84SB for TM1. The delivery will take place during the autumn 2018.
Södra Cell Mörrum is a speciality mill. In addition to paper pulp, this mill also produces dissolving pulp. Line 1 produces dissolving pulp from hardwood, while paper pulp from softwood is produced on line 2. This high-tech operation is up and running around the clock, every day of the year.
