Ence closes cellulose sales contracts for 1.1 million tons by 2020

Ence Energía y Celulosa already has closed cellulose sales contracts for a volume of 1.1 million tons for the year 2020, equivalent to the production capacity of its paper pulp biofactories.

Most of the sales agreements reached are destined for Europe, a market that offers the highest sales margins and in which Ence has strong competitive logistic and service advantages.

The cellulose of Ence’s biofactories in Navia and Pontevedra is accredited for being produced with the highest standards of respect for the environment. Thus, both biofactories have the Nordic Swan environmental ecolabel (official ecolabel of the Nordic countries) and that of Pontevedra also has the European Union Gold Distinction for its environmental improvement.
