President and CEO of the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (FFIF), Dr. Anne Brunila, who has been leading the Federation from the beginning of 2006, has accepted a position in the management of another organisation, Wood Panels Online reported. "Under the management of Dr. Brunila, the Finnish Forest Industries Federation has developed its effectiveness as active branch organisation and the Federation has an important role in promoting the success of the Finnish forest industries", says Mr. Kari Jordan, Chairman of the Board, FFIF and President & CEO of the Metsäliitto Group. "The Federation's work will be continued on the basis of its strong expertise while the Board is looking for a successor to continue the work for the Finnish forest industries", says Mr. Jordan. Dr. Brunila will continue as President of the FFIF until September 15, 2009.
