Finnish producer prices were up 1.6% in September

Oct 18, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Producer prices were up 0.4% in September compared with August, and up 1.6% year-on-year due to higher prices of oil products, processed metals, and chemicals and chemical products, Statistics Finland said.
The rise was held back by lower prices of electronic and electrical products, it said. Import prices increased by 6.7% compared with September one year ago due to 29.2% higher prices on energy products, and due to 9.4% higher commodities prices, said the agency.
