Furniture and Joinery Industries Association joins the Finnish Forest Industries Federation as an association member

Nov 27, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. The Association of Finnish Furniture and Joinery Industries has joined the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (FFIF), Timber Industry Magazine reported. The move, effective from the start of 2009, means FFIF will now also speak for the furniture and joinery industries. The association has 64 member companies employing about 6,600 people in total. It represents a significant part of Finland’s furniture industry, as well as manufacturers of kitchen fittings, bespoke furniture, windows and doors. FFIF said the addition would strengthen the lobbying capacity of both the federation and the assocation, especially in labour market, industry and trade-related issues.
