Within the context of the dispute with Landes Wood Trading, Gascogne had been sentenced under the first ruling dated 19 August 2011 by the Commercial Court of Mont-de-Marsan to pay damages and interest amounting to Euro 4.4 million, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Disputing this ruling, Gascogne had appealed and succeeded in summary proceedings in having the Court suspend the provisional execution. In its ruling dated 9 November 2012, the Court of Appeal has significantly reduced the amount of damages and interest to Euro 0.9 million. Gascogne reserves the right to lodge an appeal. Gascogne group is the only French player fully integrated throughout the entire chain of the wood-paper-conversion sector.
