Jan 18, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Ghana's export of wood products in the first nine months of 2009 totaled 320,660 cubic metres. This compares to 430,081 cubic meter for the same period in 2008, ITTO reported.
Exports in 2009 (first nine months) fell 25.4% compared to 2008. This was largely the result of deceased export volumes in all trading products except air dried lumber, curls veneer, and plywood.
In the same period there was a 32% drop in revenue compared to the same period in 2008.
