Harvestia to implement Trimble's LogForce™ forestry transportation planning and execution software

Harvestia Oy, a major Finnish wood supply company, will implement Trimble's LogForce™ forestry transportation planning and execution software.

LogForce is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that provides logging and transportation contractors and forest companies with the ability to efficiently plan and manage transport within the raw materials supply chain.

LogForce is a key component of Trimble's Connected Forest solutions, which manage the full raw materials lifecycle of planning, planting, growing, harvesting and transport.

In April of 2016 Tieto Corporation, the largest IT services company in the Nordics, began distributing Trimble's LogForce forestry transportation planning software and WoodForce™ planning control system software for harvesting operations in the Nordic forestry regions.
