Heinola Sawmill Machinery to supply Euro 7 million equipment to Orvis Corporation

Finnish Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc has signed a contract worth Euro 7 million with Japanese corporation Orvis Corporation for delivery of wood-processing equipment. Heinola was selected due to its complex approach and modern solution in the field of automation system and industrial process control. The deliveries of wood-processing equipment from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc will be started at the end of 2007. The sawmill will start operations in fall 2008. Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc belongs to Sorb Industri Ab group. The major part of companies within the section Wood is manufacturing and selling equipment for breakdown and handling of logs and lumber in sawmills. Together, as a group they are one of the leading suppliers of sawmill machinery in Europe.
