Heinzel group of Austria would take a four week's downtime at its Czech Paskov pulp plant in order to carry out maintenance and to adapt pulp output to poor demand for printing and writing paper, Euwid pulp and paper report. The company's board of directors also gave the green light for a comprehensive investment program, which is to increase the plant's energy output and to lift pulp output capacity to 350 thousand tpy of sulfite pulp. Currently the plant has a capacity of about 280 thousand tpy.
