Jan 29, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Komatsu Forest have launched new 31.5" (800 mm) wide tires for two of its top-selling forwarder models. Wider tires are an effective way to reduce the environmental impact of forest machines, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Komatsu Forest continually strives to reduce the environmental impact of its machines, and to meet customer needs 31.5" (800 mm) wide tires are now available for the Komatsu 855.1 and the Komatsu 865. Wider tires distribute the machine's weight over a larger area, thereby reducing ground pressure.
