Nov 15, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. During the first nine months of 2013, Kondopoga’s (Kondopoga, Republic of Karelia, Russia) net loss increased by 5%, amounting to RUB 1.82 billion ($55.7 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Revenue for the reporting period decreased by 2% to RUB 4.98 billion ($152 million). Loss of sales in January-September 2013 amounted to RUB 125.9 million ($3.85 million), a year earlier the company achieved profit on sales of RUB 49.65 million ($1.5 million).

Since July 2013 Kondopoga is not a seller of manufactured products. Kondopoga enters into a tolling agreement. 3Q tolling revenue were RUB 2 081.6 million ($6.4 million).

Kondopoga is the largest in Russia and 7th biggest in Europe newsprint producer. In 2012, the company produced 680 thousands tons of paper, including 678.6 thousands tons of newsprint.
