European expert in pallet-pooling, LPR - La Palette Rouge, a division of the Euro Pool Group, is pursuing its network optimisation policy and has announced the creation of a new service centre, located at Contrexéville, France.
The new LPR service centre is expected to handle a volume of 2.5 million pallets per year. Fully automated, this centre has a pallet sorting and repair facility equipped with an automated paint spraying booth. It will be managed in collaboration with MGE, LPR's transport and logistics partner in the area.
“This new site is part of our strategy to ensure our service centres are close to our customers - whilst leveraging the expertise of our partners. In addition, our high quality pallets are even stronger, to meet the specifications required for the increasing automation of our customers; and optimising our transport routes, in line with our environmental policy,” says Pascale Cezard, Network Manager at LPR France.
