First foreign subsidiary of Liepajas papirs was opened in Moscow in 2002. In 2005 paper mill’s turnover rose by 30% to LVL 1.8 million ($3.3 million), profit - by 8.9% to LVL 94 000 ($171 800). In first eight months of 2006 company’s turnover increased by 35% year-on-year to LVL 1.6 million ($2.9 million).
