Feb 12, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Norske Skog has bought 650 thousand own shares at a price of NOK 29.3275 ($ 5.34). 143,700 of these shares have been resold to primary insiders at the same price. Norske Skog's own holding amounts to 1,106,300 shares after this purchase. The purchase is done under the authorization to buy back up to 10 % of the shares, given by the Annual General Meeting. The shares will not be cancelled. The current buy-back program is limited to 1,400,000 shares and goes on until 29 February, 2008. Norske Skog is a world leading producer of newsprint and magazine paper, with 18 paper mills around the world.
