Nov 22, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Papierfabrik August Koehler AG, which has its head office in Oberkirch (Black Forest), was converted into a European Company (SE – Societas Europaea), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. The SE is a supranational modern legal form for stock corporations which can be found in all of the Member States of the EU. This is a conversion which changes the legal form, which means that the legal entity, the level of liability and the members of the management board and the supervisory board are not changing as a result of this. The regulations of the German stock corporation law will also continue to apply to Papierfabrik August Koehler SE. The company`s head office will also remain at its main site in Oberkirch. The conversion is intended to highlight the European focus of the Koehler Group to an even greater extent externally and further support the expansion of the company`s presence in the European market. Koehler Paper Group is a family-owned company, employing 1,800 people. The company produces a total of 500,000 tonnes of thermal paper, carbonless paper, fine paper, technical paper, colored recycling paper, decor paper and wood pulp board.
