In September 2021, an average prices for wood-based panels in Russia decreased by 14.1%, according to the monthly price report "Wood-based panels prices" issued by Lesprom Network's Research Department.
In September, the average price of chipboard (grade 1, E1) decreased by 12.9%, and film faced chipboard prices down 12.8%. The average prices for Urea-formaldehyde plywood increased by 3.1%, for film faced plywood - fell by 23.5%, while the prices of fiberboard decreased by 5.1%. MDF prices fell 9.7%, OSB-3 fell 35.8%.
Plywood of FC 1550 * 1550 * 21 format increased risen by 3.7%, this is the highest rise in price. OSB prices (1250 * 2500 * 9) decreased the most - by 36.4%.
It is expected further decline in prices for chipboard, film faced chipboard; correction in prices for fiberboard, MDF, phenolic formaldehyde plywood, and Chinese film faced plywood - at the end of September.
Monthly price reports for the main types of panels are issued by Lesprom Network's Research Department. The reports contain information on the current market prices for wood panels, their dynamics and market projections. The reports are based on expert polls and monitoring of the existing prices of the manufacturers and traders.
