Nov 06, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Rengo Co., Ltd. has begun construction of its Shin-Nagoya plant in Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
Rengo has long planned to rebuild its Nagoya plant on a replacement site due to the progressing urbanization of the surrounding area, as well as the plant’s confined space and deterioration due to aging. A site was acquired for the new plant location at the Akechi East Industrial Park in Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture in June 2011.
Ample consideration has been given to the environment at the new plant, including the introduction of photovoltaic power generation systems. A rack-type, seismic isolated automated warehouse - the first at one of Rengo’s corrugated plants - has also been installed in order to improve safety during distribution work and accomplish efficient inventory management.
The company aims to complete the plant an early stage so that it can serve as a central base for the Rengo Group in the Chubu region.
