Rougier announces that the MOKABI-DZANGA forest management unit (586,330 hectares), located in northern Congo, has obtained FSC certification following an initial audit conducted in June (FSC-C205497).
Combined with Rougier Gabon's certified concessions, this certification brings the Group's total certified forest concessions in the Congo Basin to nearly 1.5 million hectares.
Founded in 1923, the Rougier Group is a market leader for certified African tropical timber, with operations covering natural forest harvesting in Central Africa, industrial transformation and international trade.
