Schumacher Packaging expands site in Breda, the Netherlands

Mar 23, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. The Schumacher Packaging Group has acquired a property together with operational buildings in Breda, the Netherlands, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The previous owner was the AKZO Nobel, Decorative Coatings BV, an international manufacturer of paints, lacquers and special chemicals. The property encompasses just over 50,000 m² with three buildings – among them a warehouse, an office building and the main building with a large production area and a high rack warehouse with about 10,000 pallet spaces.

“With this purchase we have created enough space for our current production and storage needs,” explains Björn Schumacher, Managing Director of the Schumacher Packaging Group. “In addition, now we are optimally equipped for future expansion in the Benelux region.”

Schumacher Packaging is an owner-managed, Europe-wide packaging specialist for corrugated and solid cardboard board and we bring together some rather special qualities.
