In April 2021, Euro 4.4 million of roundwood was purchased from private owners in Slovenia, which is 46% less than in the previous month and 74% more than a year ago.

Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood up 74% in April 2021

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2021 was worth Euro 4.4 million, which is 46% less than in March 2021, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by more than 45%, of pulpwood by about 53%, of other industrial roundwood by about 40% and of wood fuel by about 25%.  

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2021 was 74% higher than in April 2020. All the values of individual categories of purchased roundwood were higher than a year ago, except the value of other industrial roundwood, which was almost 15% lower. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 72%, of pulpwood by almost 95% and of wood fuel by almost 86%.
