Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 9% in May

Slovenia's roundwood  purchased from private owners in May 2020 was worth Euro 3.1 million, which is about 20% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 17%, of pulpwood by about 22%, of wood fuel by almost 45% and of other industrial roundwood by about 47%. 

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2020 was about 9% lower than in May 2019. The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of pulpwood were lower by about 9%, and of wood fuel by about 29%, while the value of other industrial roundwood was by almost 68% higher than a year ago.
