Jan 15, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's total value of roundwood purchased in November 2014 was almost 9% lower than in October 2014 and about 5% lower than in November 2013, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The total value of roundwood purchased in November 2014 amounted to Euro 3.3 million, which is about 9% less than in the previous month. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 13%, of pulpwood by about 14%, and of other industrial roundwood by about 3%. The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by more than 36%.

The total value of roundwood purchased in November 2014 was more than 5% lower than in November 2013, mainly due to lower quantity of purchased sawlogs conifers. Lower than in November 2013 was only the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by about 15%), while the value of purchased wood fuel increased by more than 90%, of pulpwood by 5% and of other industrial roundwood by more than 10%.
