Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood increased by 23% in July 2016

Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in July 2016 was Euro 5.4 million, which is about 37% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 43%, of pulpwood by about 18% and of wood fuel by 2%, while the value of purchased other industrial roundwood was lower (by 24%).

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in July 2016 was about 23% higher than in July 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 28% and of pulpwood by about 19%, while the value of purchased other industrial roundwood and of wood fuel was lower by about 29% and 22%, respectively.
