Solikamsk reached full production on a new thermomechanical pulp (TMP) line at its mill in Solikamsk, Russia

Oct.23, 2003. /Lesprom Network/. Solikamsk reached full production on a new thermomechanical pulp (TMP) line at its mill in Solikamsk, Russia, earlier this month. The 130,000 tonne/yr unit came on stream in September. FMW Forderanlagen supplied the TMP line, which is Solikamsk's second unit from the Austrian firm. FMW Forderanlagen installed a 100,000 tonne/yr TMP line at the mill, which is located in Russia's Ural region, in 1999. The Solikamsk plant houses five paper machines, which have a total capacity of 450,000 tonnes/yr of newsprint and wrapping paper.
