Stora Enso signs global framework agreement with three labor unions

Stora Enso signs a global framework agreement with IndustriALL Global Union, UNI Global Union and the Building and Wood Workers’ International at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Observer signatures were made by the presidents of the Swedish Paper Workers’ Union, the Swedish Union of Forestry, Wood and Graphical Workers’, and the Finnish Paper Workers’ Union.

Through the GFA, Stora Enso will work with the three global unions in order to uphold fundamental labour rights throughout its global operation and subsidiaries. Stora Enso will strive to implement the principles of the GFA throughout its supply chain, by continued adherence to the company’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
