Vesa Volmari has been appointed General Manager of UPM Kaukas integrate and pulp mill as of 1 August 2018. The current General Manager of UPM Kaukas Teuvo Solismaa has been appointed Director, UPM Uruguay Operations Development as of 1 September 2018.
UPM Kaukas mill is located in Lappeenranta, Finland. The integrated Kaukas plant consists of the pulp mill, a mill producing magazine paper, a sawmill, a biorefinery producing wood-based diesel, and UPM's research centre.
