In August 2022, the U.S. exports of hardwood lumber to China soared 47% year-on-year to 86 thousand m3. The value of exports jumped 54% to $72 million. According to Lesprom Analytics, the average price of hardwood lumber downed 4.4% compared to the previous month to $837 per m3.
