Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. announced that a new four year labour agreement with the Pulp, Paper and Woodworkers Union of Canada (PPWC Local 9) has been ratified by its union members. The new labour agreement involves approximately 135 employees at the 100 Mile House, British Columbia mill and will expire on June 30, 2017.

agreement with the Pulp, Paper and Woodworkers Union of Canada (PPWC Local 9) has
been ratified by its union members. The new labour agreement involves
approximately 135 employees at the 100 Mile House, British Columbia mill and will expire on
June 30, 2017, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom

contribution of our employees and the partnership of the PPWC union at 100 Mile House," said

With the ratification of this agreement, the Company now has new multi-year
contracts in place with workers at both of its unionized facilities.
