Mr. Antti Oksanen, M.Sc., will leave the Metsaliitto board of directors as he retires from the position of president and CEO of the Metsaliitto Group in the beginning of 2006. No new member will be elected to the board of directors. New president and CEO of the Metsaliitto Group, Mr. Kari Jordan, will also have the position of vice chairman of the board of directors from the beginning of 2006. Chairman of the board of directors is Mr. Arimo Uusitalo, M.Sc. Metsaliitto is the tenth biggest forest industry group in the world. Its five business areas include wood supply, wood products industry, pulp production and producing of fine papers and paperboard as well as tissue paper. Its sales are about Euro 8.5 billion. With almost 30 000 employees, the Metsaliitto Group companies, Finnforest, Botnia, M-real and Metsa Tissue have own presence in nearly 30 countries.
