Arctic Paper to cut 45 jobs at Munkedals mill in Sweden

Feb 03, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Arctic Paper said that it will reduce staff at its Munkedals paper mill in Sweden by about 45 employees. The measure is part of the company's on-going profit improvement plan. Negotiations with the trade unions at the mill have been initiated, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
“We expect that Arctic Paper Munkedals will meet its financial targets this year. The mill offers unique high quality products, we are developing new product offers and the Munken brand is well recognized”, says Michał Jarczyński, CEO of Arctic Paper S.A.
Arctic Paper S.A. manufactures bulky book paper and graphic fine paper. The group produces high quality coated, uncoated wood-free and uncoated wood-containing papers.
