Boise Inc. announced a special cash dividend of $0.72 per common share, payable December 12, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 28, 2012. The total special dividend payout is estimated to be approximately $72 million to be paid from cash on hand, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. "This special cash dividend is consistent with our stated intention to return capital to our shareholders when both our performance and outlook create the appropriate opportunities.
