Envelope company Bong announced that it net sales for the period January-December 2007 amounted to SEK 1.9 billion ($317 million) and 4Q sales reached SEK 518 million (approximately $82.5 million). Adjusted operating profit was SEK 25 million (approximately $4 million) for the 4Q and SEK 68 million (approximately $10 million) for the full year. The Board of Directors proposes a dividend of SEK 1 ($6) per share for the financial year 2007. The large-scale restructuring activities following the factory closures in Ireland, Germany and Poland were completed during the year. In Finland, the transfer of production from Tampere to Kaavi will be completed in the first half of 2008. Bong is one of Europe’s leading envelope companies.
