Meanwhile, paper and paper board production in December fell 4% on year to 7.2 million tons. The full year's paper and paper board output rose 8.7% on year to 83.9 million tons.

Total output for 2008 was 4.6 million tons, up 9.5% on year, it said. Meanwhile, paper and paper board production in December fell 4% on year to 7.2 million tons. The full year's paper and paper board output rose 8.7% on year to 83.9 million tons.
The bureau's statistics showed plywood output in December reached 11.7 million cubic meters, up 23.1% on year. Plywood production for 2008 totaled 119.3 million cubic meters, up 32.7% on year.
