The resolutions by UPM-Kymmene Corporation's annual general meeting of shareholders on 27 March 2007, on the decreasing of the share premium reserve by the amount of 776,122,940.18 Euro, and the legal reserve by the amount of 187,227,209.68 Euro, have been executed on August 1, 2007. After the decreases the amounts of the share premium reserve and the legal reserve in the balance sheet as per 31 December 2006 is zero. The decreased amounts shall be transferred to the invested non-restricted equity fund.
