Dieffenbacher takes over the business of DSTP-Engineering Oy

Jun 11, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Dieffenbacher Panelboard Oy, Finland, the wholly owned subsidiary of Dieffenbacher GMBH Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Germany, has agreed with DSTP-Engineering Oy, Finland, to take over its business, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
DSTP-Engineering Oy was a company supplying consulting and engineering services as well as certain machinery like chips screening and mat forming.
The investment is in line with Dieffenbacher’s strategy to grow its core business and to increase its engineering capacities. Dieffenbacher will take over six employees in Finland, two in Russia and one in Atlanta, GA, USA.
The service and spare parts for the equipment and machines supplied by DSTP-Engineering Oy will be provided by Dieffenbacher.
Dieffenbacher will continue and strengthen the tradition of technological development and engineering for panel board plants. This will further sustain the expertise and the scope of supply offered by the Dieffenbacher Group.
In 2011, Dieffenbacher’s Business Unit Wood sold 29 panel production plants and realized a turnover of approximately Euro 290 million and thus an increase of 10 % compared to 2010. The orders in house amount to Euro 630 million and reach far into 2013. Dieffenbacher expects to increase turnover considerably in 2012.
