(comprising joint-stock company Mondy Business Paper Syktyvkarsky timber company, Komi Republic, Russia) has obtained chain-of-custody certification SW-COC-1580 efficient till 2010, company’s press-service reported. Chain-of-custody certification (CoC) is issued by SmartWood company. It means that the enterprise is capable to prevent the interfusion of certified forest products with uncertified ones during production process and shipment and also to manufacture certified forest products apart from total volume. Now Finlescom Ltd. is entitled to sell its production under international certification system logotype FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The company will start to realize certified production on Syktyvkarsky Plywood Mill. Therefore, Syktyvkarsky mill doesn’t lose its certified production chain-of-custody (Noshulsky logging facility – Finlescom - Syktyvkarsky mill). Finlescom plans to enter the market of direct buyers interested in timber quality and its legal origin.
