Fire damages Mary's River sawmill in Washington, USA
Aug 27, 2012. Mary's River Lumber Co.'s Cedar sawmill in Montesano, Wash., USA, incurred extensive damage to its sawmill building in a fire Saturday, August 25. No one was injured. There was no damage to the planer, molder, kilns, or any inventory. The shipping department continues to operate. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A statement from the company indicated that the sawmill will be rebuilt. The loss of production will be made up at other Mary's River locations, and no interruption of supply is anticipated.
