Apr 24, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. In March 2007 the group which consists of JSC Grigiskes and daughter enterprise Baltwood LTD reached a turnover of LTL 12.1 million (Euro 3.5 million). Over three months of 2007 the group’s turnover totalled LTL 34.1 million (Euro 9.9 million). The sales in first quarter 2007 increased by 13.8% year-on-year. Over first quarter 2007 the group earned a profit of LTL 1.6 million (Euro 500 000). In the year 2007 the group is planning to sell products and services of LTL 159 million (Euro 46.1 million) and earn a profit of LTL 9 million (Euro 2.6 million). JSC Grigiskes is a manufacturer of toilet paper, paper towels, paper napkins, medical cellulose wadding, corrugated board, hardboard and painted hardboard. In May 2003 Grigiškės AB together with Danish wood company DTE (Dansk Traeemballage A/S) and Danish entrepreneur Pier Nielsen founded joint company BaltWood UAB.
