At its meeting on July 28, 2009, the supervisory board of HOMAG passed a resolution to make the following changes to the management board: From September 1, 2009, Rolf Knoll, longstanding member of the management board, will assume the function of CEO in addition to his responsibility for group operations, as the company reported. The new Head of Sales will be Jürgen Köppel, since 2004 managing director of the successful HOMAG production company BRANDT Kantentechnik GmbH. He will take up this new position no later than January 1, 2010. The reorganization was necessary because Dr. Joachim Brenk, the current CEO of HOMAG Group AG and responsible within the management board for sales, service and marketing, is leaving the company of his own volition at the end of the year to take on a new position. In connection with this change, the supervisory board expressly thanked Dr. Brenk for his work and his special contribution to the further development of the HOMAG Group. Filling both positions – CEO and Head of Sales – internally will ensure continuity in the management of the HOMAG Group. This will be supported by the handover by Dr. Brenk who will be available to the company until year-end.
